The WEDIDIT collective got their start DJing friend's house parties in their hometown of Los Angeles; little did they know their cough syrup and cheap beer infused cuts of simmering R&B, 8-bit beats and twisted electronic would soon garner them a world-wide audience and launch an international label.

The tour celebrates Shlohmo's mesmerizing new album "Dark Red" (out now on True Panther). His second LP is an uncanny marriage of ever-evolving, richly textured sound with shades of 90s IDM, cassette-tape Jungle, and sludge metal. After Shlohmo’s sell-out tour last year, this is 25-year-old Henry Laufer as no one has seen before – the chopped and screwed conductor to a crazed live band.

Joining Shlohmo on tour will be partners-in-crime D33J, Purple and Nick Melons. D33J is a purveyor of hazy late night jams, where aquatic textures overlap with bedroom clicks while London-based Purple pairs hypnotic shoegaze synths with trill snares and clouds of paranoid energy. Expect the unexpected from D33J and Purple on their debut trip down under.

And who else to open this tour up than the infamous Nick Melons? The label co-founder has been spinning DJ sets for years; a mixture of unreleased WEDIDIT cuts, and underground anthems that set the tone for a show unlike any other.
