Described as a sad girl hour mixtape, ‘memoirs for the brokenhearted’ is made for those who enjoy luscious harmonies and are going through heartache so we’re pretty sure this will relate to anyone and everyone that has been in a relationship.

True to R&B, JARNA has a voice that’ll bring back to those 90’s heart break memories you thought you had dealt with. She’s been steadily releasing songs throughout the year and has also featured on tracks with bKIDD, Mikey Mayz, Chris Bates and EDY. She’s climbing the ladder in the NZ R&B scene and we’re sure it won’t be long before she’s at the top.

‘memoirs for the brokenhearted’ is out now.

East coast psyche-surf rock / reggae dub groovers SOJØURN have released their latest single ‘Stand Up’. The track reflects the upbeat dub/reggae sound and good vibes the band has become synonymous with.

"The song is about uniting and coming together in our search of happiness, escaping everyday social pressures and letting go of our worries. Stand Up is an ode to the people and moments that have brought us to where we are today as a band, and is also an invitation to those in the future to jump in our waka."

The band played to big audiences at Leigh Sawmill & a sold out show at home in Mangawhai in July. SOJØURN have also just announced their Spring Send Tour including headline shows at Wunderbar (Lyttelton) and Dive (Dunedin).

The band also have 2 unreleased singles ready to drop in the coming months leading up to summer.

We hope you enjoy this track as much as we did creating it. Thank you for your support of our music, and we hope you are all keeping well during these uncertain times.

Mā pango, mā whero ka oti te mahi

With unity the work will be completed.

Villette is back with a new single and music video

She’s back and with a slightly more upbeat sound that’ll get you jumping on your couch at home. Villette treats us to a brand new release following her last single ‘Bye’ with a feel good track titled ‘Curious’.

It’s a tale of enjoying the ups and downs of life and venturing further down forbidden paths ... It’s me hanging out with my friends, enjoying each others’ company and feeling free to express ourselves. Like the lyrics of the song say ‘cause tonight we don’t need no ending’.” says Villette.

The song was produced by Ben Malone and co-written with Max Gunn and Jono Boyle on a writing workshop in Auckland.

If that wasn’t enough to get you excited, she also dropped a music video for it directed and edited by iconic Auckland director Connor Pritchard with the support of NZ On Air.

'Grand Opening, Grand Closing' is the latest project by Raiza Biza. Raiza describes the album as a journey through a relationship. Divided into 4 acts, 'Grand Opening, Grand Closing' is a concept album where the listener is taken on an audio description of the ups and downs of love, scene by scene, in the style of the film. A slight departure from Raiza's traditional sound, this project sees him experiment with different sounds and structures made.
