Following the vinyl release of his VITA EP, David Dallas is hitting the stage this December for a rare series of intimate shows. “This project was raw and DIY from the start,” he says. “So if I was going to perform it, the shows had to match that vibe.”
After the overwhelming response to his sold-out Tiger Venue Veterans show, Dallas is bringing FAFO — Samoan for “Outside” — to life. These intimate performances are all about stepping outside and reconnecting with fans up close, just as he did in his early days.
“Vita was written back in the home I grew up in, where it all started. I want these shows to bring that same energy: raw, unfiltered, and real.”
About VITA EP
Dallas’s new project, VITA, is deeply personal - a nod to his Samoan name, Tavita, and a return to his roots. Written back in his childhood home in South Auckland, VITA captures a pivotal moment of reflection and connection after the passing of his brother. In between clearing out 30 years of family memories, Dallas found release in creating music, reuniting with his original producer and close friend, 41, to craft songs that are raw, powerful, and unmistakably him.
