Shiraz & LSJ are on a roll with the release of their latest album Imported Smoke coming on the back of their recent album Rap For Sport.
The front half of the album is packed with gutter raps and beats with the leading single Dwayne’ showcasing braggadocious but also broke man bars while the following track The Mish keeps along the same sort of ‘Day in the life’ type lyrics with an underlying diss to dirty politicians and cops. Towards the back end of the tape, AKLTown talks about the good and bad of growing up in the city of AKL, and Wylin serves as a prelude to this track touching on the same topics through metaphors and wordplay.
The duo show that rap really is a sport.
